Operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Library, Clear Stream for Reading is an innovative outdoor library model where visitors can enjoy books and cultural experiences amidst the urban natural setting. As part of the “Seoul Outdoor Library” initiative, this space offers freedom and intellectual delight in a relaxed and considerate environment that encourages immersion. The library features around 2,000 books, including picture books, newly published titles, and popular non-fiction, all available on “Animal Bookcases” and “My Book Baskets”. Convenient rental services such as book lights, parasols, and mosquito repellent are also offered. Items can be reserved through the official website or borrowed at the on-site information desk. Take a moment to pause your thoughts, let your mind wander, and feel inspired while listening to the sound of the flowing stream of Cheonggyecheon and light classical music celebrating the spirit of spring.
